Inuit spirit girl...
Hey Kekoa, take this in whatever direction pleases you...this is where I was headed with it. I'm posting some ref of little girls from those video games we were taking a look at...the whole idea of a feral little girl is cool but might be a bit complicated to communicate visually without straying into creepy territory. If you need any help or have any questions just let me know, I did my own final in pencil and if you just wanted you could take it and digitize it in a style close to Chelsea's rendering of the shaman dude, or draw her again I don't really care. Thanks!

Ghost Girl Thing
I was thinking some kind of weird animal/human thing. For me, like a girl with animal like characteristics or a dog with human characteristics. It wouldn't be like some werewolf but a more feral like person. Hair matted, teeth bared, something that is creepy and sad like?
I'll get my drawings up tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest to show what I was thinking.
But if you guys come up with the direction today, I'll adjust mine accordingly.
Thanks!

Waaah! I'm late!!!
Villain Cartoon network style
Why is drawing fat things so meditating? I love it, ok here are some experiments with the turnip shape, trying to uphold a youthful figure to the little girl with all the weight, it's tricky but I discovered it's in the connection of the shoulders. If you make them too broad she instantly looks like a man thug thang, definitely no bueno...

Cartoon Network Villain Sketches
I don't feel like these are super inspired, but maybe they'll be a good springboard to the final project.
Meeting Notes
First we discussed the importance of making our character shape-based (see visuals posted last night).
Next, we nailed some specifics for our character-- to suprise everyone, we will make our antagonist a girl (We even toyed with the idea of her having a crush on robot-boy). We envisioned a sort of roly-poly, geeky, "space princess"-esque antagonist.
Remember our audience, ages 5-12.
Let's have fun and get creative!!! Show off the fruits of your creativity by posting sketches on our blog by Friday midnight, Saturday morning at the latest.
...Also, if you need a shape to inspire you, try making her a turnip shape. that's right-- rounded at the top, pinched at the bottom.

Soooo here are some ideas generated from the session tonight to get you guys excited about this design.
